Between The Pages - A Surprise Second Chance

A Surprise Second Chance

Could a secret…

Bring them together?

Lush rainforest, magical sunsets and a welcoming community—Nalani has everything botanist Daphne Mercer needs…except the only man she ever loved. Griffin Townsend broke her heart years ago. Now he’s in Hawai’i on vacation, a single dad with two kids. Daphne is charmed by Griff’s little family, and he longs for a second chance. But will she forgive him when she learns his true reason for seeking her out?

Between The Pages
This heartwarming story is all about second chances. Daphne and Griff get a second chance after someone’s meddling forced them apart years ago. Daphne is a strong leading heroine. She doesn’t hold a grudge against Griff for dumping her, her relationship with his children is endearing, and she has recovered and made a new life for herself after a disastrous family fallout. This is book three in the Hawaiian Reunions series, which is all about family and friends. The author hooks readers with an exceptional cast and a setting that can be felt physically and visually. I recommend escaping to the island of Nalani.

Between The Pages - A Detective’s Deadly Secrets

A Detective’s Deadly Secrets

December 2023

To solve her husband’s death…

She needed the man who still adored her.

Detective Lana Tate’s convinced there’s only one man who can help untangle her husband’s mysterious death: Agent Eamon Quinn. The FBI superstar is an old friend who will stop at nothing to find the truth. He joins forces with Lana—the once-favorite colleague he’d secretly pined for. But as their long-buried attraction bursts into flame, so does the danger threatening them at every turn.

Between The Pages
This book is the last in the Honor Bound Series and it ended the series with a bang, literally and emotionally. Eamon Quinn finally got his story. Eamon was a pivotal character in past books, so to see him take the lead was so much fun. He held a torch for Lana Tate, but she was married. Now her husband is gone, and she needs Eamon’s help. The story is riddled with secrets and suspense. The best part of this book was Eamon’s family of friends returning to help and support him. Revisiting the cast members was enjoyable. I highly recommend Eamon’s story as well as the complete Honor Bound series of books.
