Publisher's Pick - December 2017

My Publisher's Pick for December is packed with emotion from the very first page!
Here are a few more reasons why Christmas at Cade Ranch by Karen Rock received a five star review and is my Publisher's Pick for December:

Between The Pages ~ Publisher’s Review
The cover instantly draws you into a beautiful setting, then the author grabs you by the heart during the first opening pages and maintains a steady hold right to the very end. The emotion in this story will have you wanting to shed a tear, laugh, and smile. The Cade family not only welcomes Sofia and Javi into their home, but the reader as well. The siblings are wonderfully well-developed characters, so much you’ll want to get to know each and every one of them through their own story. The chemistry between James and Sofia is heartwarming, as are the scenes with her son, Javi. The family matriarch, Joy, is a solid character and binds the family together while trying to reconnect with a lost love. The family celebration that turns into a brawl shows the animosity between two feuding families and strengthens the plot. I can’t brag enough about this story. It captured my attention and heart from the start. A must read during the Christmas season!

Don't miss the prequel to the Rocky Mountain Cowboys series, A Cowboy to Keep, and coming in February 2018, Falling For a Cowboy!

Christmas at Cade Ranch
Karen Rock
November 2017

The Christmas they never had.

James Cade has one priority: keep the family ranch running smoothly in the wake of his younger brother's death. With Jesse's ex, Sofia Gallardo, and her young son, Javi, stranded at Cade Ranch over Christmas, this task just got a lot harder. The longer Sofia and Javi stay, the harder it is to imagine the ranch without them. James couldn't save his brother from his inner demons, but he can give his nephew a secure future. Maybe more—if he can figure out how to trust Sofia, and stop feeling like he's betraying Jesse. Because trying to stop thinking about beautiful, determined Sofia is impossible.
